Introduction
Haldi, also called turmeric, is one of the main spices used in India. It not only gives the recipe the taste but also the colour. People for over three thousand years have been using Haldi powder in their cooking. It is one of the primary sources of taste in India.
Ingredients
- Sugar
- Boiled milk
- Saffron
- Turmeric powder
- Dry fruits like almonds, Kaju, Pista, etc.
Preparation
To make turmeric kulfi follow the below steps.
- First, boil the milk and then add turmeric powder with a little bit of saffron to it.
- Mix it well, and then add sugar.
- Now the whole milk should be in yellow.
- Once the milk is boiling, add the dry fruits like almond, Kaju, Pista for taste.
- Stir it well and let it cool.
- Now pour this mixture into the kulfi moulds.
- Put in in the freezer for eight to ten hours till they freeze.
- Now, after you take it out, they are ready to serve.
- Enjoy the ice-cold kulfi.
