Preparation
- The first step is to marinate the lamb. Wash the lamb, cut it into pieces and then marinate it by adding turmeric, mutton masala, Indian spices like cardamom, cinnamon, shah jeera, fried onions, salt, butter, chilli powder.
- When the mutton is marinating, you can work on the rice. You have to soak the rice for one and a half hours. After that, add some cinnamon and salt. Now boil the mixture for a while but not completely.
- Now put another pot on the stove and add some butter to it. Add the marinated lamb with onions, chillies, tomato puree in the pan and cook it for 10 minutes.
- Now add this lamb mixture to the half-cooked rice. Top it off with fried onions, chillies, and coriander. Cover the top and let it cook.
- Viola, Mutton biryani is ready to serve.
